Jared Bittner

Head Coach and Program Director

Jared Bittner is a distinguished diving professional with over 25 years of coaching experience. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Jared’s journey in the sport began at the age of six, leading him to become a standout Junior National Diver. During his early career, he set numerous pool records and represented the United States at international competitions, ultimately earning All-American honours at both the high school and collegiate levels. His competitive excellence continued into adulthood, where he became an MCC University Division I conference champion.  In addition, he achieved the title of Masters World Champion on both the 3M springboard and 10M platform.

Beyond traditional competitive diving, Jared has performed in high diving shows across the globe, he possesses a deep technical understanding of the sport's most extreme heights where he has not only qualified athletes for the Junior World High Diving Championships but has also coached divers on the Red Bull Cliff Diving circuit. Throughout his coaching career Jared has developed multiple Junior National finalists and medalists.

Today, Jared is excited to bring his international experience to the Ottawa community. He is deeply committed to the growth of the Ottawa National Diving Club, where he focuses on helping young athletes master their technique, build mental resilience, and achieve their personal and competitive goals.
