The Registration link will bring you to our new Dive365.ca site to complete registration.
Dive 365 will also include registration with Diving/Plongeon Canada and Dive Ontario. The annual registration fee for Recreational Athletes (including athletes in the Learn to Dive program) covers the period from September 1 to August 31 of each year. This fee provides insurance and liability coverage for divers.
Ottawa National Diving Club’s Learn-to-Dive is designed for children who want to learn diving fundamentals in a safe and supportive environment. Divers progress at their own pace through a structured program led by NCCP-certified coaches, with regular skill assessments and feedback.
Our program involves a precise path to teach diving for all levels of talent and allows each child to progress at their own speed in a safe environment. We will assess each child and communicate the results. Bruce’s Building Blocks shows the skills necessary to progress to obtain each medal standing. Click here for a sample report card.
Our coaching staff is certified through the NCCP and regularly participates in ongoing professional development to ensure a safe, supportive, and high-quality experience for every diver.
We recommend completing at least one session (about 10 practices) before pursuing the sport further.
Prerequisite - the ability to swim unassisted from the board to the side of the pool.
